How To Apply
At Who’s Who in Black Canada.com, we make a sincere effort to profile and promote excellence, achievement and sources of inspiration in our community. We welcome all submissions.
Here’s what we need to in order to consider your application complete:
1. Completion of our online submission form which includes:
- Name, title, and company/organization.
- Birthplace & city where you currently work & reside.
- Social media URLs (links).
- URLs to any applicable video(s) you would like posted.
- Your biography written in the 3rd person – 500 words maximum. (Bios may be edited for consistency and length.)
NOTE: Your inclusion on Who’s Who in Black Canada.com is completely based on the strength of your bio, so this is no time to be shy. Make sure to include: what you’ve done, what makes you different, your career/community highlights, and any accolades & awards you’ve received for your dedication and hard work.
2. Answers to the following questions to help give our readers a better sense of who you are as a person, rather than just what it is you do:
- Favourite book and why?
- Favourite quote?
- Given the chance, what would you love to do that you haven’t done yet?
- Who or what inspires you?
- Why do you do what you do?
3. A high resolution photo of yourself. Send to:
All photos must be large & high resolution (minimum 500MBs or 1000 x 1000 pixels). Files can be sent in .jpg, .tiff, .png, .psd or .eps format. Pictures taken by a professional photographer work best. If you do not have a professional headshot, please make sure there is nothing distracting in the background of the photograph. Photos can be sent in colour or black & white. Ideally, a headshot should include your head and shoulders. If you wear glasses, make sure there is no glare.
